What the prompt actually asks

The folder does not ask for a title, a name or a number. It asks what superpower Lily would have, and it expects one word.

The Secret Folder has been sitting on the desktop since the game began, locked, next to the Study Guide. When you open it, the game asks for a password and frames the question around a superpower rather than around a secret. That framing is the source of most of the confusion, because the answer is not the name of a hero, a comic or a game.

It is also worth knowing that this folder and the Study Guide beside it take completely different answers and look nothing alike. If you have already opened the Study Guide, do not expect the same kind of clue to unlock this one.

The word, and the case question

teleportation, lowercase, one word. The capitalisation question is the only real ambiguity in the answer, and it comes down to how the guides wrote it down.

Nothing in the sources indicates that the game distinguishes between the two, and the split reads as a matter of how each guide chose to write a sentence rather than as a difference in the game's own text. Type the word, and if it is refused, change only the first letter before you go looking for a different answer.

Where the clue is written

Not on Lily's blog. The hint lives on Iris's account on the in-game short-message feed, and reaching it takes three deliberate clicks.

1. 01Open the flyer Iris sendsIris sends you a flyer during the story. The link you need is at the very bottom of it, below the part that reads like the actual message, which is why it is easy to scroll past.
2. 02Follow the feed link to the Radiant Path accountThe flyer's footer link points at the organisation's account on the feed. Open it, and the account's posts load in the in-game browser.
3. 03Click Iris's name in the second postHer name is highlighted inside the second post, which turns it into a link to her own account. Three separate guides describe this step the same way; the name is the doorway, not the post text.
4. 04Read the post with the hintOn Iris's account, one post carries the superpower line. Two guides number it as the fourth post and another dates it to a day in July, so if the fourth post does not look right, read the older entries rather than concluding you are on the wrong account.

What is inside, and where it leads

Three images, a log and one audio file. The log is the part that matters beyond this puzzle.

The folder contains three images, a Diet Log, and an audio file named after a person. The images are character material. The audio file leads to a profile page elsewhere in the in-game web and is lore rather than a key to anything.

The Diet Log is the one to read closely. A line in it refers to a private project for Iris, and following that line is what sends you into the Maze Game and its hidden word, which the Black Light page covers. Opening this folder is the point where the middle of the game begins to run.

If the folder will not open

Four things to check, in the order that saves the most time.

• The first letter. Three guides write the word in lowercase and two capitalise it; change only that letter and retry.
• The wrong folder. The Study Guide sits directly beside this one and takes a book title with the space removed.
• Spaces and punctuation. It is one word with nothing appended, so a stray space or full stop at the end is enough to fail it.
• The clue is not on the blog. The blog holds a different puzzle's clue, and the superpower hint is only on Iris's feed account.
